8/10/10 - I'd like to thank Marie for all of her help and for travelling to NJ with us. Also, a big thank you to our groom Leigh Ann Czigler who did a wonderful job with Frankie. More pics coming soon!

8/9/10 - Sorry I got behind on my updates, but my webmaster/husband came out to NJ to watch me ride and we didn't have a computer to post them. We're proud to say we finished 5th overall in the championships! Frankie was a super boy. Here are our results:
Day 1, PSG: 66.158% (5th place)
Day 2, I-1: 68.158% (5th place)
Day 3, I-1 freestyle: 69.1% (7th place)
Overall: 67.494% (5th place)
The top 5 horses each day got to participate in the awards ceremony and honor rounds, so we got to do that every day. Frankie and I are making our big trip home tomorrow. I'll put up some more pics from Marie's camera when I get home.

8/9/10 - Frankie and me with our 5th place ribbon

8/9/10 - The awards ceremony -- that's us on the far right

8/6/10 - The jog went well yesterday and we're set for our first ride today. Frankie and I will ride the Prix St. Georges at 2:27pm. Our next rides will be tomorrow and Sunday. You can watch live streaming video beginning tomorrow at USEFlive.com.

8/3/10 - Oh my gosh! There are beavers on the freeway off ramps in New Jersey!!!!
Look closely at the little brown guy on the grass. Pretty cute!

8/3/10 - Today we moved Frankie to Gladstone. Everyone is hard at work setting up. Looks good!
8/3/10 - Marie and Betsy at the BBQ. Double trouble!

8/3/10 - Tonight we had a BBQ at Betsy and Jessie's barn. Chris, one of their students, did a fab job at the grill and prepared a great dinner for all of us!
8/3/10 - Leslie, Dorte, and Betsy enjoying the good food and fun.

8/3/10 - Tip Top chaperoning the BBQ from his stall!

8/2/10 - The entrance to the USET headquarters at Hamilton Farm. We came today to get Frankie's stall ready for his arrival tomorrow. So exciting! The whole property is really beautiful and I can't wait to ride here!
8/2/10 - Frankie and I getting ready to ride. It's another beautiful day in New Jersey! We did get attacked by a few bugs, but were able to ride mostly indoors. Frankie has been super. I think he really likes bein' on the road!!
7/30/10 - Oh, forgot to mention: On the flight with us yesterday was Preakness winner, "Lookin' at Lucky". He had his own private container all to himself!

7/29/10 - LAX at 4:00 in the morning - way too early to be horsin' around! Frankie's ride awaits.

7/29/10 - We made it to Newark! Frankie traveled like a champ. This is the view of the cargo door and lift as we are taken off the plane.

7/29/10 - We're in the container and loaded on the plane. Very tight quarters!!! This is the tiny aisleway down the side of the plane where we can walk to check on the horses.

7/29/10 - Bye bye big plane! Thanks for taking good care of the horses

7/29/10 - Frankie settling in at Betsy and Jessie Steiner's beautiful barn in Frenchtown, NJ. We'll stay here until next week when we move to Gladstone.

7/22/10 - Hi! First of all, thank you to everyone who came to the Charlotte Bredahl clinic that we hosted last week. I hope you found it as interesting and informative as I did. Charlotte is unique in that she is an expert international judge as well as a wonderful communicator. As you know, a portion of the proceeds went to support my trip to Gladstone with Big Tyme.

We'll be competing at the Intermediare I Championships as part of the 2010 Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions. I'm currently seeded 3rd of the 15 horses competing. I will be posting updates, results, and photos along the way, so please check in often! The competition begins on August 6th. Bye for now!

7/29/10 - Frankie's view from his lovely stall. I think he likes it and can't wait to get some of that grass tomorrow!!!!
